Rashes and Braces

Well, two days ago Little L (the three year old) came home from school with a rash. It was pretty bad. He had red splotches all over his face AND back AND tummy AND arms. My mom called Shauna to see if there was a viral rash going around, but oddly there wasn't. I mean, if it was viral, with all of the sharing food and tackling & stuff, we would of all had it by now. So yesterday mom took him to the doctor. The doctor said it was this SUPER severe rash cause by his medicine and if it got worse come again. Unfortunately, today he woke up and his eyes were puffy and red so she went again. She said it was definitely that severe rash and if it got worse go to the emergency room. THEN the doctor said to cut of his necklace. My mom got our necklaces from Ethiopia. She went there on a mission trip about a year ago.

This is what the Necklace looks like. Its a hand carved Ethiopian cross.

The Doctor was new. Maybe our normal doctor will have a better answer. Hopefully :-I. Also, Baby B will be getting feet brace soon. He will be getting a long left brace and a short right brace. He needs the braces because he tiptoes when ever he does stand up (with support) so, yea. So far Baby Boy has had a helmet, a apnea monitor, and hand braces. And recently they said he is going to need a sensory suit! (its kind of like a wet suit.) Hello Foot Braces!

I also got into the local swim team. I had always done summer swim team, so I was pretty familiar with the routine. The only thing different is I wasn't pretty familiar with swimming 50's. I usually do 25's. The try- out went pretty good. I did a double try- out with another girl my age and when we did the strokes to see witch ones we qualified in, I beat her. (Not that swimming is about the races, but trying to beat your best.) yepdadedo. That's all for now!

Bible Verses for this Post:
Luke 14:12-13 He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,
1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.

School or no School?

My mom started homeschooling me and my brother last year. The school that she had been working at and me and my brother were going to just wasn't working out. When we started going there, a awesome principal worked there, but that year he was retiring. The a new principal came, then he left, and my mom decided to do online public school. The fact was, you had to stare at a computer screen five hours straight- and my brother has apraxia (he cant grip all that well and he has slight speech problems) and the speech services that came with the academy weren't so good. Halfway through the year, my mom pulled us out and started traditional homeschool. It worked Pretty well. That's actually what we do today.

Last year, we had five kids in and out the school room door. The youngest was a 6 month old and the oldest was me. Technically, the only ones doing school were me and my brother- who was 6 at the time. The other kids were to young for school- making them a big time distraction. Baby Boy was ALWAYS crying and the Red Head was being a crazy Red Head. (in case you don't know what I mean by Red Head he has red hair(the 3 year old)) The 2 year old was running around the house throwing stuff, and yea. (This was before we got the other 2 year old). Sorry- this is probably a lot for you to take in at once. So, here is a quick overview on all of it.

I have five brothers- making my family a family of 8. There is Mom, Dad, Me, My 7 year old brother, my 4 year old brother, my 3 year old brother, my 2 year old brother, and my 13 month old brother. Last year They would have been 6,3,2, and 6 months. We didn't have the 2 year old we have now because foster care didn't give to us yet. Get it now?

This year mom put the Red Head and the 3 year old in a School where Shauna works. (The same Shauna from the Post Baby B) And foster care pays for the tuition of the 2 year olds Day Care. So there is a lot less distractions. We get school pretty much done with before lunch with this new awesome curriculum that teaches us a lot, giving us time to play, read, and gives me time to post on my blog when I want to. What's good to is that my dad is a engineer and is a math wiz so when ever I  need help with my math I just go in the basement 'cause he works from home. Whoop, Whoop! So life is good right now.

When ever we go to stores or to all of the boys appointments, people always look at us like were crazy. Just as summer ends, its fine because it looks like we haven't got back on school yet. But other times they look like "Why aren't they in school? That's so Weird." Especially with Little Boy, Because he's a different race then us (We don't care AT ALL about races, by the way) and then there like- "Look at that family! :-0" God doesn't care about that stuff, though, so we shouldn't either.  But in my family, you have to learn to ignore what other people think about you as long as you know you're doing the right thing. And I'm confident we are.  :-)

Bible Verses for this Post:
James 4:17- Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.
Isaiah 1:17- Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Church Drama

At church I dance on worship team. My dad volunteers, so every other Sunday he is in the children's ministries. When he Is in E-Town, I dance. Up intill about this school year I considered the other girls mean. They left me out of there group. Maybe it was that I was never brave enough to go up to them, or maybe it was because I was not "cool" enough for them to walk up to me. Looking back at it, I probably should of  went up to them. What really made me dislike them, though, was a time at camp. This one girls stomach was really hurting her, so our cabin leader took her to the nurse. I was still asleep at that point, but when I woke up I freaked out. Not only was a camper missing, but the cabin mom, too! The only girls awake to tell the story were a part of the " group ". I asked one of the girls where they were and she said: "Some people are trying to sleep Curious Goerge!" That comment made me really mad. I asked the next girl and she said: "Well I'm just trying to reinforce my friends rules." Oh oh oh oh, and that's just a little of the drama. Later on at camp they we're mean to me several more times, calling me mindless brat, saying that homeschool kids are dumb. Ya. They said that.

I mean, I just want church to be a place to learn about God, but instead, it was fretting to see those girls. This school year, they moved into a class at church for older kids. When I still do see them in the hall, they have a different style of clothes on, playing games on phones. I wish I had been brave enough to walk up to them and say. Hi! To late for that now, I guess. Next year when I move up to the older kids class, maybe I'll have a clean start. I mean, in church we did learn about forgiveness!

If they would just happen to be reading this right now ( 0:) ) If I offended you in any way that I don't know about I am sorry in all ways possible. :-) I don't want anyone to be mad at me.

Bible Verses for this Post:
Galatians 5:15 - But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
Philippians 3:16 - Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Baby B

I'm Mpcat04. I have 5 brothers. But there's just one little thing I don't put into other sites or things. There's also one little thing I don't put into my email. I won't put it into Facebook. Nor Twitter. Not into Bing. Not Instagram or Pic Collage.  My life. Everyone would think, Oh Yeah. She practically lives on Social Networking. ( not that I do ;) ) But there is always something people are hiding. Rather they lost there job, or if there out of money, but, no matter what there is always something. My weak spot normally is my family. I'm not ashamed of it, that would be ridiculous. For some reason, though, I hide it. Maybe it's the fact that I can't show pictures of them or share there names ( Dfcs rules ). So, I am making this blog. I'm going to make this blog so you can get that little part I'm hiding. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm confident of myself. So let my tell you the story of little Baby B. My brother.

Baby B. He was born under rough circumstances. ( not allowed to tell you all the details ) Just that day, we had got a call to tell us that the other little boy we were going to get went to another home. We were absolutely devastated. We were glad that he went to a better home, but we were pretty sad, too. So I ended up going to my moms BFF's workplace to hang with my BFF's her daughters. The second mom walked in to pick me up, she got the call. She told me and Emma and Grace to go play while she and Shauna went into the office LOCKED the door and answered to phone call. Us girls were desperately listening at the door trying to hear a little catch of what she was saying. Finally, we gave up and sat on the couch trying to guess what the call was about.

When the finally came out, my mom and Shauna said they were going to have to leave to The Hospital to Pick up a two day old. She drove me home and took off. About ten minutes before she came back I washed my hands and refused to touch anything so I could hold the baby first. When she came home I still had to wash my hands, but I was the first at home to hold him. The second night, he had a seizure. He had to go to the NICU for two weeks. He was put on a feeding tube, and once, CPAP. He came home at last though, and we loved on him.

That's the outline of his story. Now he's a semi-healthy ( got sick last week ) 13 month old. He has cerebral palsy, and he has to have thickened drinks. He's also allergic to milk and soy. But rather than that, he's awesome! He has about 15 words and is sooooo sweet. The Lord has really Given us a true gift. I hope he inspires you like he inspired me.

I hope I can keep up with this thing, so stay tuned! I have more of my life for you!
